About Us
Rucksack Ventures is a travel advocation company. We were established in 2007 in order to raise intercultural awareness and promote social development throughout the world. Our goal is to encourage young people to develop an understanding and appreciation for the various cultures of the world by facilitating first-hand encounters in foreign countries as well as at home.
By instilling an appreciation for cultural differences in today’s youth, we can help the leaders of tomorrow embrace the multitude of cultures around us and establish a richer and stronger global community.
In the future, Rucksack Ventures will contribute directly to the development of a global community by:
- Becoming a resource of information for backpackers and world travelers.
- Providing affordable accommodations in youth hostels and apartments for students and travelers across the globe.
- Developing facilities in which to conduct social exchanges and cultural activities.
- Creating scholarships for students who wish to experience the world firsthand through independent travel.
